What is Wheaton Montessori?
The mission of Wheaton Montessori School, as a school accredited by Association Montessori International, is to provide children with essential experiences according to an educational model supported by current brain research. Classrooms and curricula are designed according to the developmental needs of children in order to guide, engage, and nurture each child—intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
Wheaton Montessori School
Wheaton Montessori was founded in 2000 with only a handful of students. Today we are proud to serve three full primary classrooms, a thriving elementary program, and our class of junior high students. Through this period of astonishing growth, we have consistently provided what is confirmed by both the parents of our students and the Association Montessori International (AMI) as an excellent example of Montessori education. Wheaton Montessori School is one out of only five AMI certified schools through age 12 in Illinois. For more information about their rigorous standards, visit AMI School Standards.
